Unless Matmos manage to get some radio play, there’s a good chance that they’re harming themselves, or would be if it weren’t for the publicity of this note itself.
Generally, if a band want to get known, they should /want/ to be pirated! Larger established bands have a reason not to be.

That said, it’s nice that Matmos are relying upon our humanity, rather than upon insidious technology.
