Check out this televised debate from the U.S. TV Show “Crossfire”. I think Zappa’s predictions about encroaching theocracy have in part come true.

Recorded in the 1980s, it seems that Zappa’s comments on what is consdered indecent are as relevant to modern British culture as they were to the Reagan era USA. The same kind of people who branded Zappa’s humorous music as “Porn Rock” would like to outlaw the Jerry Springer Opera.

And speaking of Zappa, why is it that Ben Watson (a.k.a. Out To Lunch), our resident Zappaologist has not yet made a contribution to this blog?

We had a nice plug from The Londonist, a blog dedicated to the cultural goings on in our fair city.

We are all very flattered to think that our blog now counts as culture, but of course this is not the only Resonance FM blog - make sure you check out Resonance FM Podcasts, a blog site exclusivly for our audio offerings.
